- You must register to use this service whether as a seller or a buyer. Registration is quick, simple and costs nothing. You may, of course, browse the ads as a guest but you cannot place ads or contact sellers without registering and setting up your own personal ID.
- This service is for private/personal sales of actual goods. It is not for commercial selling and neither is it for the promotion or selling of services. Neither is it for the selling or buying of goods that are illegal or likely to cause offence.
- Ads should only be posted in a single most-appropriate category - don't multiple post across categories, use inappropriate categories or inappropriate wording in your ads to force them to be found in a search.
- Do not use language that is likely to cause offence to others. Please avoid text-messaging abbreviations and use good English wherever possible.
- All ads are vetted to ensure that they meet the above criteria. Ads which do not meet this criteria may be edited by the gear4sale team, may be referred back to the advertiser for correction or may simply be deleted. Members who persist in posting invalid ads will be given a warning and may be barred, either temporarily or permanently, from posting further ads.
- The gear4sale team accept no responsibility for the accuracy of the ads placed here or for the honesty of members. It is your responsibility to safeguard your own sales and purchases. This is no worse than advertisements in newspapers or shop windows. gear4sale will not get involved in disputes between buyers and sellers - we just put you in contact and you handle the transaction as you see fit.
- The gear4sale team accepts no responsibility, directly or indirectly, for losses incurred as a result of glitches, bugs or technical difficulties with the running of this site.
- The gear4sale team and those designated by the gear4sale team reserve the right to modify and/or delete ads/posts if they fail to meet the criteria defined here. Decisions made by the gear4sale are to be respected. If you have issues with any decision made by the team, you should direct your complaint, in the first instance, to a moderator in the form of a private message. A public debate of moderation policies is not acceptable.
- By registering and using this service you are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice or prior consultation. Changes will be notified through the News and Announcements board and your continued use of this service assumes that you keep abreast of the latest T&Cs as and when they are revised (hopefully not too often).
