One of the great pocketable ultra slim 35mm cameras with aperture-priority and program AE modes. I bought it as a 'go anywhere' camera and had considered a Minox 35 or a Rollei 35 for their small size and super sharp lenses but this camera could be considered to be a modern version of those cameras with autofocus and auto film advance and better autoexposure but still retaining a crisp and sharp lens. Also, this camera is made of lightweight magnesium alloy so it is strong and durable and has knobs and buttons to set many things which are retained on power off unlike so many modern cameras. In short, this is a photographer's camera.

This camera has had a very light use. I carried it everywhere in case I needed a camera rather than buying to use on a regular basis. It is therefore in a very clean and almost new condition. The auction includes the original box, carrying case, strap and user manual. The carrying case is showing signs of wear but that is to be expected as it has been protecting the camera. The camera also has an date/time imprint mode that may be optionally turned off if not required. A new battery has been recently installed.

The camera has the excellent 28mm f2.8 optic and will make an excellent street photography camera.

Establish with the seller that the goods are what you want and that the seller is genuine before you exchange personal contact details.

If do you agree to meet somebody to complete a transaction, use common sense about when, where and how you meet them. Again, common sense should prevail. For example, if a seller is selling a nearly new digital camera but doesn't have the manuals or battery charger or can't show you the original purchase receipt, ask yourself why. Caveat emptor prevails - buyer beware.

The gear4sale service is for bona fide private buyers and sellers. It is not for commercial selling nor for the sale of illegal or offensive goods or goods that are simply not yours to sell. gear4sale will not approve such posts if we suspect that that is the case and the accounts of members who post such ads are liable for suspension.

Use the Thread Subject line to say what is you are selling e.g. make and model and/or other relevant information. It is not necessary to include the words 'For Sale' in your Subject line since everything here is for sale.

Use the Message area to give more detail. Include things like age and condition and, if possible, include one or more images of the goods. To be compatible with users with small screens or on dial-up connections (yes, there are still some), make sure your images are no bigger than 600x600 pixels. Host your images on your own web space e.g. Flickr and link to them. If you don't have any web space of your own, you may request us to permit you to upload images as attachments to the gear4sale server though we will limit you to maximum of 500kb of image data.

If possible, include your asking price. Potential buyers are more likely to contact you if they know what ballpark your price is in. Simply saying 'Offers?' can be offputting to some people.

Be honest with your description and mention known faults (if any). Do not knowingly mislead buyers. Though gear4sale are not prepared to involved in disputes, we reserve the right to suspend accounts of sellers who are known to consistently post misleading ads.

DO NOT include personal details like e-mail address, telephone number or postal address in the ad. This is to protect your identity and prevent spam and/or an unwanted invasion of your privacy. Potential buyers will contact you through the Private
Message (PM) system. Check your messages regularly. You can also have an e-mail sent you at the e-mail address you have specified in your profile (the e-mail address itself will not otherwise be visible to others) - check that this is set in your user profile under User CP in the Welcome bar at the top (under the gear4sale logo).

Where possible, have an ad for each item you are selling. However, we don't mind if you are selling a kit and want to list everything in one ad with individual prices though we feel that this should be no more than 10 items. If your kit includes items not compatible with the main item of the sale then this should be split out into one or more further ads to make searching more relevant for potential buyers.

If buyers contact you with common questions, consider updating your ad (you can edit it any time) and give that information there. If you sell your item, update your ad to show that the item has been sold to prevent further contact by enquirers. You cannot delete your ad but all ads older than a preset time (currently 50 days) will be removed regardless of whether the item has been sold or not. You may, of course, re-submit your ad if it has not been sold in this time.
